Centrally located in Florida, Sebring is home to nearly 100 crystal clear lakes, vast citrus groves, cattle ranches, the Sebring International Raceway, and one of Florida’s oldest state parks. You will experience the “old Florida” charm with its relaxed way of life, warmth and geniality while the lakes, restaurants and nature provide the fun.
Sebring will delight you with its many restaurants, while a trip to the beautiful Highlands Hammock State Park is a must-do, as well as enjoying the majestic lake-view sunsets.

Course
Be part of a mega GFNY Sebring race weekend with the marathon & half marathon on Saturday, October 21 and the cycling marathon on Sunday, October 22.
The marathon and half marathon start and finish at the scenic Barn at Paso Fino. Race on tranquil, scenic roads dedicated specifically for GFNY athletes via Central Florida’s nature: scrub habitat, tress and bushes and looping around Lake Hill. The course is flat and will provide you a chance for a fast time for a PB or BQ.
GFNY will provide 5 fully stocked aid stations per loop to provide you ample chances to refuel, plus enjoy some motivation from our spirited volunteer crew and music.
You will race through the start / finish chute on each loop and pass by the fan zone at the Barn at Paso Fino. The Fan Zone be full of energy from your supporters, music and announcer. Half marathoners will complete their certified course after 2 loops, Marathoners will complete 4 of the 6.555-mile loops to complete their marathon.
At the finish line, enjoy a snack and refuel with water, soda and electrolyte drink. VIP ticket holders enjoy a post-race BBQ and Beer, or you can hang back, relax and enjoy some post-race socializing and purchase food and beer at the Barn at Paso Fino directly. The awards ceremony will be for overall podium of the marathon and half marathon and for marathon age groups.
Join for the marathon or half marathon if your target is a PR or BQ, or join us for two back-to-back races: the run-bike double! Each race counts as 1 GFNY finish, making your race weekend extra rewarding towards a 3x2023 or 10x/20x medals.
This course has been accurately measured by a USATF official. The distance you see on the below embedded map is not accurate because these maps have a margin of error.

Perks included as part of GFNY Marathon Florida Sebring
THE SINGLET: All athletes receive the official GFNY Marathon Florida Sebring singlet, which is mandatory attire at the marathon. The singlet is ultralight, soft and breathable to make sure you don’t feel it when racing.
CHIP TIMING:GFNY Marathon Florida Sebring is a timed race. Each athlete has their own timing chip, which starts right after you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line. Timing results will be available at gfny.cc/results.
FINISHER MEDAL: Every GFNY Marathon Florida Sebring finisher receives a medal, no matter which distance they complete. All finishers also earn a “Finish” towards their 3x2024 GFNY medal or the 10x medal. Go to gfny.com/medals for more information on GFNY’s multi-finisher medals.
